That's the #1 release on my wish list. Unfortunately it is only going for silly money everywhere. I spend a morning with Chris many years ago. Really nice guy. Photographed him and his trumpet. "Night Sessions" has always been my favorite release of his. Would love to hear it in 5.1!

I've found exactly four quad titles streaming on Apple in "Atmos" which quite properly, IMHO, route the rear quad channels to, if available, the "surround back" speakers rather than the "side surrounds."

As opposed to everything else in Dolby Surround, and my AVR, routing quad or 5.1, which do the opposite.

The common denominator is not hard to spot. @kamranv

And she has been cited by many top musicians, both male and female, as a role model for their respective art. Audio Fidelity's discrete QUAD SACD does NOT disappoint.....finally in pristine sonics the way it should be heard!

Couldn't agree more! LOVE this Nyro release! Stoney End is one of the records i cleaned. Sounds so much better, but nothing sounds as good as an SACD (or Blu-ray)! Three standout Nyro tracks on this Babs Quad LP. I would LOVE to see it released on multichannel SACD!

Couldn't agree more! LOVE this Nyro release! Stoney End is one of the records i cleaned. Sounds so much better, but nothing sounds as good as an SACD (or Blu-ray)! Three standout Nyro tracks on this Babs Quad LP. I would LOVE to see it released on multichannel SACD!

Barbra recently entrusted release of her very first recording LIVE AT THE BON SOIR on Stereo SACD to IMPEX records and the results are phenomenol and since I believe she owns ALL her original Columbia Master Tapes and IMPEX records does release in SACD SURROUND [Patricia Barber's CLIQUE] that would be the proverbial marrriage made in heaven.
