No Steve Perry, but I think mr Pineda does a great job. Very active surround and a very good show, and the songs - just fantastic - I love Journey!...

I'm a huge Journey fan too..but I think the BEST replacement singer they had was Jeff Scott Soto...saw them in 2007(?) and HE ROCKED!!!!!
Too bad there are no official recordings of that tour :(

Very active surround and dynamic - sounds great - beautiful music :)

Hmm, I have listened to the album twice - can't think of anything negative - but I will take another listen!!

:)

Oh its not a hideous voice by any means, it just had a quality that didn't do much for me at the time.. nice enough musically and alright surround wise from what I can remember (bit "loud" though innit? iirc you can't 'crank it'..) most important thing is if you enjoy it then that's all that matters, this is your life you're living and it's the only one you've got! :upthumb

To me it was a very pleasant surprise - I really enjoyed it - and had to play it twice in a row. Dynamics and surround are very good - and I really liked the moderne melody in a classic instrumentation presentation. Great songs.

Maybe I had the perfect day for this kind of album - sometimes one are just in the wrong mood to enjoy certain albums. Some days dynamics and surround quality changes - I believe this to be true.... :)
