Listening to Aero by JMJ , eating an Aero ( or 2 ) by Nestle while being watched by Anne Parillaud !
Could be the loudest recording I have? ReplayGain lowers it with more than 14dB. Not much headroom for dynamics - and with a really weird surround mix - but it is one of my surround favourites (along with the other 2 dvd-a's) - I love it.
Steven Wilson-Hand.Cannot.Erase-such a good album
I'm taking a very, very rare evening off from listening to music. I mean...that is rare. Sitting in the other TV room with my wife watching some TV. :yikes
Yes Sir. Probably my second favorite of all his work, right behind Raven.
Listening to The Beatles - Love. This thing always just amazes me, one of my absolute favorites. :worthy
Love this quote about Love - '... in December 2006, Giles Martin said that he first created a demo combining "Within You Without You" with "Tomorrow Never Knows", which he then nervously presented to McCartney and Starr for their approval. In Martin's recollection, "they loved it", with McCartney saying: "This is what we should be doing, more of this."'
Sir, you and I share the same opinion!
1- TRTRTS is his BEST!
2-DUUUUUDE, I was listening to "Love" last night at 3AM....WEIRD!!!! and I did listen to the "Within you../Tomorrow..." mashup, it's one of the very few that I like..I still listen to the WHOLE songs...but I think it's growing on me, curiously ..If only they had done the same kind of mix for the "1" disc...(yeah it was cause we went to see the new Star Wars Movie and it was at 10:30 PM, btw, don't bother!!!!)
Watched it already. The last 30 minutes of the movie are stunning. And the comeback of an old character fighting in the last 10 epic!Took me a second to realize that 'TRTRTS' is The Raven That Refused To Sing. At first I was like "Tartar-Toes?" @:
Yes, that kind of mix would have been much, much preferable to the slight reverb in the rears on 1.
Oh I'm a huge Star Wars nut, so I'm absolutely going to see it. Plan to go Tuesday around noon with some friends. We always see new movies on early weekday afternoons because there's almost never anyone there, especially kids. I guess you didn't like it. It has a 92% rating from Google users, 89% from Rotten Tomatoes users, and 83% from IMDb users, not that that necessarily means anything. :lookaround
