Just listened to BT-ELECTRONIC OPUS Blu-ray last nite.

Great disc, I think anyway.

. And if you have 9.1, the quadrature contains 4 additional "height" channels.:smokin

Stone Temple Pilots: Core. Solid kick drum - I like it!
Good choice, I just put it on! :upthumb

The guitars are huge, bass guitar is really full and meaty, kick drum has a solid, deep wallop, and surprisingly for this kind of heavier music, it seems fairly dynamic to me. It does have some decent surround too for a drums/bass/guitar band with vocals. It is a bit weird that the lead vocal also comes out of the rears just a bit, but the harmony vocal parts are all around in a nice way. It's really BIG sounding, in the best possible way. :)

Edit: Just saw on wiki that Scott Weiland died just over a year ago. I had no idea. I knew that STP fired him a while back and replaced him with the guy from Lincoln Park, who has apparently permanently left, but just found out. I find it very sad, but not surprising. :(
