It worked - I can see the photo, without needing to click on a URL. It's just there... :)
Also - make sure to go to LIBRARY, and locate a link that says EDIT ALBUM SETTINGS. You will want to make it PRIVATE, otherwise, everytime you post a picture, we theoretically could click the pic and access your albums...which you don't want.
Got it, thanks again. I think it's now private, can you tell GOS?

Got it, thanks again.

I know these posts are WAY off topic...but they help, because posting pics from photobucket is the way our leader wants us to do it. Saves on space I guess. So, another comment is - I have a photobucket app on my iphone, super easy to take a pic (within photobucket) and upload it. From there you can post the pic in QQ. I do it all the time in this particular forum. Works like a charm.

Way off topic I'm afraid but that should do it for now.

On a bit of a Bruce Springsteen kick, trying to checkout whatever I can thats in 5.1 after reading his biography.
Checking out "The Promise: The Making Of Darkness On The Edge Of Town the followup from the boxset where they do 5 songs:

"Songs From The Promise" was filmed before an audience of approximately sixty fans in December, 2010, in Asbury Park, NJ's historic carousel house. For this one-time concert event, Springsteen and members of the E Street Band lineup were joined by keyboardist Charles Giordano, a full horn section and special guest David Lindley, who played violin during the original recording sessions. Directed and edited by Zimny and mixed by Emmy-winner Bob Clearmountain, the concert features the only live E Street Band performances of four tracks from 'The Promise' plus "Blue Christmas."

The copy I have is the Dvd version as borrowed from library.
Can anyone help me out on this as I have been suffering from some kind of sinus/ear problem, 2nd time this month, first time lasted 5 days, now on day2 with same problem, everything is so muffled, I might as well be listening to something in Mono as my hearing is very limited.
Not sure if this would be worth upgrading to Bluray to get the lossless.
If someone has this or heard it please chime in as I can't make any proper comment at the moment.

Don't know anything about that peterzach, but I hope you feel better (and hear better) soon! :upthumb

Sounds old fashioned but I'd try a steam bath with hot water and Vicks (or Dampo). Fill a large bowl with hot steamy water and add a tablespoon of the aforementioned, sit at the dinner table, cover head and shoulders with a big towel and lean into the vapor, might not work but it sure won't hurt.

It might help, but it also reminds me of that scene in Crocodile Dundee. :D

For some reason I watched that recently, could you be more specific on the scene, it was very late in the night.:yikes Then we'll go right back to the point o' the thread.

Thanks Daniel, I am fortunate to have a steam shower unit in our home and just spent 15 minutes in it. Nothing improved yet but last time I had this I had a couple of steam showers and also tried dipping some cotton balls in warmed up olive oil, placed in ear as that way a bit of olive oil goes in to loosen up a ear wax problem(if thats what it is), not sure this time so will just try the steam shower unit. This does remind me how thankful for the hearing that I do still have when things clear up.

Your old fashioned method, remember doing that as a kid to try clear up cold's, thanks for that reminder, it might be something to try as well.

If anyone has any comments on the Bruce Springsteen-Promise Bluray would love to hear about that as well or any Bruce Sprinsteen 5.1 for that matter.
I have the "The River-Ties that Bind" bluray boxset coming as am looking forward to the Tempe 1980 concert mixed by Bob Clearmountain and rest of box will be of interest as well as don't have any of it.
Our library has the Born to Run and Darkness boxsets in Dvd as well so will check those out before purchasing.
I think Bob Clearmountain did work on those 2 as well if I am not mistaken.
From bits and pieces I have heard so far or what I can make out I don't think Bruce Springsteen is a discreet surround guy as we know Bob Clearmountain is capable of mixing great discreet albums as he has a few under his belt(Roxy Music-Avalon,Bob Marley-Legend,Bryan Adams-Reckless,etc).

Hey Peter, hope you get your hearing back soon, just be careful about sticking things in your ears. A GP could scope them and probably give you the answer, probably a minor thing.

Yeah, these Tacet suround BRAs of Beethoven's nine symphonies are great, aren't they. I can't judge the quality of the performances as I'm only a "good weather" listener to classical stuff, but the surround sound on these fits my tastes very much...

I love them, too. Tacet has done such an outstanding job separating the instruments and voices. The performances are fine. I'm sure some people with pick them apart and find flaws with this and that...making comparisons with Toscanini, Furtwangler, Karajan, etc, etc... But, I've already been there and done that. Zzzzzzzzz.... :zzzzz

I wish Tacet would do a lot more symphonies & orchestral works by other composers, at least the major stuff...you know, Haydn, Mozart, Schumann, Berlioz, Wagner, Brahms, Tchaikovsky, Mahler, Bruckner, Richard Strauss, Debussy, Ravel, Stravinsky, Bartok...would be a good place to start.
Oh man! There is so much more music that needs the TACET touch. :51banana:
