Had a less than stellar day at work. Came home had lunch and a couple beers and went downstairs to watch the Long Ryders Live at the Roxy. I found the K's instead and listened to BB King Reflections and Riding With The King. It made the day much better. Reflections is a average mix but still sounded fine. Riding with the King is a way better surround mix that made my afternoon better. It made me forget how much my day sucked. Scott

Riding with the King - I'll have to spin that tonight while watching the Oilers and the Ducks.

Queen "Greatest Video Hits"- Between this release, "A Night At The Opera", and "The Game", we are soooo lucky to have so many GREAT surround mixes by one of the greatest bands ever. BUT... we still need "Innuendo" in surround (we don't have ANY surround mixes from that wonderful album!)

P.S.- We need "Queen II" as well!

Definitely Innuendo and QueenII, and Queen 1, Sheer Heart Attack and Day at the Races and Queen Live Killers !!! That'll do for now :)

Breakthru on GVH 2 is superb

OK, tired of fucking around with old music. You can take the boy out of rock but you cant take rock out of the boy. Listening/watching now to to the DVD 2 disc 5.1 DTS of QUEEN THE VIDEO HITS. Awesome who cares about anything, fucking great. And just think I get to see Queen with Adam Lambert next month and oh yes, U2 next week

Whoa! Lambert with Queen in concert? That will be flat out amazing. I've been a fan of Lambert ever since his days on The Voice or whatever it was...wife and I were smitten with his talent.

REM "UP"... listening to everything by REM last 2 days (I've never owned one of their albums, so most of this music is new to me)... "Document" is fantastic (but it sounds like it was mixed by someone different than who mixed the other albums). "Monster" is GREAT (excellent content, excellent mix). "Up" is nicely mixed, but just not sure if I love the tunes yet...

edit: OK... UP is actually really good (especially 2nd half of album)... and Great mix!

My first R.E.M. back in the day was Lifes Rich Pageant, purchased at Tower Records, Columbus and Bay San Francisco. I heard this song on the radio, Superman, and went into Tower and talked to a chick asking about a tune called superman, and she said, Oh yeah, this is it.

veneno para las hadas, SW Insurgentes, DVD-A 48k 24b. With luck no twilight within the courts of the sun, sometimes you just need it. And we're talking large sound here.

By the way they all mixed by Elliott Scheiner. :worthy
I'm still trying to get Document and Hi-Fi at reasonable price to complete my R.E.M. DVD-A collection. For some reason these two are really hard to find.:ebay
