Dimension III - Jimmy Castor Bunch (SACD)
Camp as Christmas yet soulful and jazzy, the instrumentals are like the Benny Hill theme on acid and the tracks with vocals are like the Hues Corp on dope! love it!
Doesn't sound like the album is one for me to add to my collection (love the description ), unless I have my drink spiked with acid (again!) and take up smokin' (again!), then I realised I had it
Josef Rheinberger: Two Concertos for Organ & Orchestra (SACD)
The Columbia Symphony
E. Power Biggs (organ)
Maurice Peress (conductor)
Just went to my local Tower record and picked this one up. How sweet it is
listening to now in Quadro-phenomenal-onic sound...
Deodato 2-fer DV SACD..
bongo-tastic!!!
edit: "Skyscrapers" & "Super Strut" one after the other (from the Deodato 2 Quad on this disc)... scoop my brains out and call me a vegetable, that's some astoundingly mind-meldingly mesmerising surround sound 1-2 sucker punch going on..!!!!
So what did you do with those Q8 cartridges of Deodato 1 and 2, ADAM: Use them to heat up the SOUP?
do you mean the non-existent Deodato Q8s I never bought in the first place, Ralph?
So, you're SUPER STRUTTIN' for the very first time with those luscious D~V QUAD 2~fers! BTW, two of my favorite D~V remasters. Hopefully, we'll get more CTI QUAD SACDs. AIRTO's Fingers is likewise excellent!

not quite the first strut, I had the Japanese CD-4 of Deodato 2 already.. anyway, who cares if it's the first time or the hundred and first, its all lovely luscious surround sound!
