How did yours turn out Weekend Toy - the first one me received was supposed to be be like new and sealed - it turned up unsealed a lil damaged and missing CD1 - easy return the new one sent - only problem it was left at my neighbors house urrrrgh - said it was delivered with a pic of ahem not my door lol - had to go around and see who had a door like that. This one is perfect and sealed - they also gave me a 5 dollar credit for the screw up on the first one - so for 9.38 - Greaaaat deal - was also great at 14.38

Hand delivered to the front door this morning by the post man. It was sealed and appears to be new. One surprise though, I didn't realize the deluxe version was in the form of a large hard covered art book. A nice bonus.

Yes it certainly is, kinda lonnng overdue for this masterpiece . "Before The Deluge " is one of my favourite tunes, fwiw.

I bought the quad CD-4 album on a whim back in the 70's............and boy am I ever pleasantly surprised.

I listened to the DD 5.1 mix last night and was blown away how wonderful the SQ is and how discrete the mix was. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! A stunning package overall!

just out of interest, are/were you spinning the decoded SQ LP or the Q8?

the SQ record decoded pretty nicely thru the Surround Master, I thought.. but the mix really shone imho (if not in the fidelity stakes compared to the LP) when discrete on the 'umble Q8 tape.

i love the way its a super active surround mix, playful right off the bat with those horse hooves galloping all round the room in gratuitous '70's 360-degree fashion and the whip lashes thwacking around the place! oh my! kinky kwad!

maybe.. just maybe these Aerosmith Quad gems will see reissue before we all collide with Mars.. could it be Sony Japan to the rescue.. or maybe Dutton Vocalion will really get cookin' and lay some super audio heavy rockin' sheeeet on us, maaaan!
