RPWL - A New Dawn

Sounds very Floydian :smokin

Mine arrived today...playing it now.
Yes, Its quite Pinky with a touch of Metallica. Great surround treatment.
More importantly, I like it.
Just need the speaker set up to let it reach its full potential.
But that will have to wait a while now, as I've just spent oodles on a new Marantz AVR monster.

Can highly recommend this Blu-ray disc.
It rocks

Porcupine Tree, Deadwing (DVD-A).
It's good to bring back the oldies.

I can't listen to this one, it sounds too much like the french national rail :ROFLMAO:
That happened to me as well last time I visited Paris. It was a business meeting and I was traveling with a superior. We took the train from the airport and everytime the jingle was played I hummed quietly "and loose those chains". My boss looked quite puzzled at me (that might explain why I remained at my current position while he continued climbing up the management ladder)

2-nights listen through initial selections .

2 start.....

Savoy Brown -Jack The Toad QUAD (convert.fr the Q8 tape)

They have better albums fwiw , just about every album prior to this . But this is a good quad mix from an excellent British Blues Rock band .Their only surround or quad title .

This is one I missed out on, but out of curiosity I went hunting, and found a used copy on amazon.com, shipped to the UK for £20 (its over £50 on amazon.co.uk), the bizarre thing is, its UK re-seller on amazon.com!

I like their version of "Coming Down Your Way" better than the 3 Dog Night version. The title track is pretty good as well.
All in all, I think "Jack the Toad" is a worthy Q8. Never would have ever even heard of that album if I didn't find the Q8 in the cutouts back in '78 or so.
