Listening now to A Space In Time, 4.1. One of my favorites and because I have a super rig Alvin's vocals are front.
One of my classic rock favs too!. As you allude, it sounds perfect with front/rear channel swap,

Love it. Wish we could get Cricklewood Green in surround.Listening now to A Space In Time, 4.1. One of my favorites and because I have a super rig Alvin's vocals are front.

Is that the same Church of “Under The Milky Way” fame?
New in the mail today, never heard them before, a kind of indie/dream pop/rock.
And I like it a lot, great songs with a very nice discrete surround mix.

Spock, thanks for posting will need to revisit that one,The Church-Forget Yourself'.
For me as I have bought almost all Church albums as well as solo albums, this one did not do much for me in comparison as I liked their earlier albums so much more.
I just listened to Depeche Mode-Speak and Spell today. Really liked this first album with Vince Clarke as had his pop leanings for sure and the band got darker right away after he left the band after the one album.
Discrete or ambience in the rears? And a bit of Classical music . Excellent surround .
