Haven't spun this Membran German Import in ages but dang, it sounds pretty amazing even though it's synthesized surround. I bought almost the entire Membran Series [Jazz/Classical] for $6~8 back in the early 00's and even though they're all synthesized surround, damn they sound pretty good....some even excellent!

A nice little disc from the Toad the West Sprocket frontman. Mix is discrete, but the use of the rears can be pretty subtle. Still the mix has plenty of nice moments. If you don't have a copy it's still available for very cheap on Amazon, Discogs, etc....

Hardly the most discrete of mixes but an excellent album nonetheless.

And cheap is GOOD!
