I had a NEED after my day at work to be sonically assaulted. I went to the basement with a couple beers and put in Disturbed at a relatively high volume. I feel better now but am not looking forward to being at work at 4am and staying late. Saw it has a low rating, but it served it's purpose and is a seven the way I am feeling.

Listened to this the other day , kinda wanted to hear the timely tune ....When I'm 64.
AND :
I take umbrage with 4 eared on his comment that this album is tepid or not very surround .
Could not be more wrong .
Give it another listen please, 4 eared , I know you'll be pleased .
listened through it , now that's 4x now , and boy is it ever "immersive ". There is full usage of those rear speakers on pivotal cuts such as "Being For The Benefit Of Mr. Kite "--most impressive , I think. And "Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds " and "Within You , Without You " (and others ).

In short..Giles did good, no , make that VERY GOOD INDEED !!

I will, Fizzy. It was after all from Four Track sources! Perhaps I was 'unrealistically' anticipating a 70's~style QUAD surround fest.

I will admit, after 2 complete plays, the recording is CLEAN, especially considering ALL the multiple overdubs Sir George was tasked to do with just four tracks.
