I lost 80% of my earing capacity on the right ear listening to Geddy Lee singing in 1976! I am on medication right now and hoping that I can retrieve the full capacity of my right ear to listen again to some surround music. It doesn't help to enjoy surround music when you have yourself a channel blocked...

The Band - Music From Big Pink (BRA)
followed by
Ayreon - Into the Electric Castle (DVD)
and finally
Rabih Abou-Khalil - The Cactus of Knowledge (DVDA)
All three feature great music (Americana, prog, Jazz) with decent to excellent surround mixes...

From what I understand, Mike, it also contains a 192/24 stereo mix as well. Well, at least you do have choices!

My AVR thinks the stereo is DD 48k 448 kbps.

Was ripping this one today (strictly archival purposes) and realized I hadn't read the liner notes yet
Come to find out it's by - steelydave - and another great one at that!

Also noticed the musicians used on the "Love Corporation"; absolutely wonderful players. I'll be listening to this now with completely more focused ears.
