MOST THANKFULLY, I have ALL of AF's QUAD/5.1 SACDs except Winelight and Mannheim Steamroller 8 which I have on MLP DVD~A 5.1 transfers!

Not to mention all their Stereo SACDs old and new and a big chunk of their AF 24k Gold RBCDs some of which were encoded in HDCD!

Do I qualify as an Audio Fidelity groupie?

you might wanna track down that Winelight AF SACD, Ralphie... to my 4-ears it sounds even more spectacular-er-er than the already spectacular DVD-A..!! 🤯💘

I should have, Adam but since I had pumped a literal fortune [you don't want to know] into repairing my venerable Meridian 800 DVD~A player, I stupidly resisted although I will concur the AF QUAD SACD of Billy Cobham's Spectrum does blow away the MLP DVD~A by a wide margin.

Thanks! What do you think of the release? It sounds amazing on paper! Stay Surrounded, Comradgial!

If you like German Progressive Metal (I do :) ), then this will be right up your alley. It's not really that extreme musically, so it will appeal to a wider audience. An interesting concept musically, coupled with video, it makes for an enjoyable listen.

Did you read the website's 'disclaimer' regarding shipment of this release, Clem?

The last disc I ordered from Germany took about a month to arrive in the USA.

Good morning! Not tech savvy enough to post pics so will just tell you what's on today's playlist. Starting with Creedence Gold Q8, then some Ray Stevens greatest hits and then some Joe Walsh. All 10's imo. Would be interesting to know if any members have these in another format.

I have NOTHING in surround by Creedence, Stevens, or Walsh (solo, that is!). Of course, now i feel as if i must have them all! Until then, . . .

Nice! I get new music also. The Q8 tapes still sound good for the most part. I have around 300. Most are still in very good condition. I have been able to replace the pads so they track well. They are easy to play. No setting distances or levels for speakers. No sub! Sit where you want in the room, adjust the joystick and you're good.
