My vote of 10 is for the download from IAA.

Where to start ...
This is such a thoughtful, intelligent and brilliant concept release.

There is so much to absorb, that even after a dozen plays, I still find more and more elements of this release to enjoy.

And Mr Afternoon is one of our very own contributors here on QQ.
How lucky are we!!

Go on folks, support Mr Afternoon, you won't regret it.

I have the DVD-A version. I actually helped (just a little) Mr Afternoon with spot checking to ensure all the songs played and behaved as they should. So, I've listened to this a few times actually.

This is totally different than Banana. For sure, it needs to be listened as a complete piece, front to back. Some of the tracks are spoken bits, which come across as what I'd call, "video game chatter" (for the lack of a better analogy)

The fidelity is top shelf. The surround mix is also as good you'd want. For me, the content is all great, though I've never been a huge fan of spoken parts. That's just me. They aren't long, and mostly act as the setup for the next tune.

It's long! You seriously need to take an hour or more and just listen to it from front to end. I can't think of any other release that is similar to this. Very creative, and it will shake your subs, if you have them.

He's done a great job on this, and as far as I can tell, he's poured his heart into creating something different. If I were voting on surround mix and fidelity alone, it's a 10. Since 1/3 is content, I'm voting a 9. Again, only due to the spoken bits. They are entertaining and most will find them that. I'm just a music guy, and pay no attention to my small quibble!

It's awesome having Mr. Afternoon as a member here and I'm glad as hell to own this. What a cool release! I'd say, you all need this. Yes, it's good.
