In English: Finally, the new studio album from RIVERSIDE, Poland's pioneering and leading progressive rock band! As a follow-up to the 2018 album 'Wasteland' which peaked at #13 in Germany, #28 in the Netherlands, #23 in Switzerland, #39 in Austria, #83 in the UK, #30 in Finland, #30 in France Having entered the charts at number 97, in the Czech Republic at number 59 and in Poland at number 1, the new album 'ID.Entity' expands on RIVERSIDE's signature sound, but in a revised and more dynamic form. Recorded and mixed in two studios (The Boogie Town Studio in Otwock with Paweł Marciniak and Serakos Studio in Warsaw with Magda and Robert Srzedniccy), the album was mastered by Robert Szydło and produced by Mariusz Duda of RIVERSIDE himself. 'ID. Entity' marks a remarkable start to the third decade in RIVERSIDE's career and will be available in the following formats: Ltd. Deluxe 2CD+Blu-ray Artbook, Ltd. 2CD Mediabook, CD Jewelcase, Gatefold black 2LP, Ltd. Gatefold Orange 2LP, Digital Album & Digital Album Deluxe.
Riverside fans: When you're ordering ID. ENTITY, if you don't already have the 5.1 version of Love, Fear, and the Time Machine order that too. It is spectacular, and one of my most requested surround disc's by visitors.

For Canadians amazon.ca finally has it as a preorder for 71.23 plus tax so almost 80.
If it doesn't get any cheaper than lasercd is the better deal as even with shipping it is closer to 67 in Canadian dollars.

The two instrumental tracks from the bonus disc are also mixed Dolby Atmos. Overall very happy with the fidelity and Dolby Atmos mix. I think the songs are excellent. Very happy with this purchase. I wasn't to crazy about Friend or Foe when I heard it first on YouTube. But dang, sooo much better and more enjoyable on the Blu ray disc.

Have you only listened in Atmos?
Reason asking as wondering how this sounds in 5.1 as that is my setup. I would love to have an Atmos setup but our house reno chewed up our funds so no Atmos for now.

I like your comment of "Friend or Foe' even though my initial reaction today was different than yours as I loved what I just heard today even on lofi on youtube for this song.
If it sounds even better in surround, which I always hope it should if mix has been done properly, this is good to hear.

My copy from Lasercd arrived today and first listen confirms the Robert Szydło Atmos mix is extremely immersive with typically excellent production quality. No "ping-pong" effects, but almost constant use of overheads and surrounds. Also, the packaging is excellent with high quality art book and solid pegs for enclosed discs. This is what the Porcupine Tree packaging should have been! Will take many more listens to fully absorb the music, but seems a bit more upbeat than previous releases.

Yes. Twice! But I checked out Friend or Foe? in 5.1 DTS HD Master. Sounds great. Immersive. Nice mix. I think you will be pleased.

My order arrived today. I only managed to listen to it once in 5.1.
I really like the music (but I'm not objective - I'm from Poland and Riverside is my favorite Polish band ).
However, I think the surround mix could be bolder. I think I liked the "Love, fear and the time machine" and "Wasteland" mixes better - there was more going on in them. But of course that's just my first impression.

Do you like Collage? It's neoprog but I think their new album Over and Out is tremendous.

Of course, I like and know Collage, I have all their albums. I've also been to a few concerts. I like the last album, but better is - in my opinion - "Moonshine" from 1994.
