After reading your comment I decided to buy the box... but it's nowhere to be foundI am halfway through and in my opinion the mix is a winner! Musically I will need certainly some more listening...
On the Blu-ray there are only the 48 KHz / 24 bit 5.1 versions (English + Swedish), no hi-rez stereo.

Edit: Scratch that... ebay came to the rescue!
Thanks for the review and the link!Ha ha, good job! All the Amazons in Europe have the box in stock, in France for just 59.99 Euros (https://www.amazon.fr/dp/B07TPYWZGG).
no hi-rez stereo.
Yeah, no Hi-res on Qobuz either... And after a couple spins, well, it's not Pale CommunionF.....!
Nuclear Blast is really shitting on them, aren't they?![]()
Comments from the Steve Hoffman's forum seem to indicate it's not, in fact, a discrete 5.1 mix. It's a mere stereo upmix just like Sorceress...
Hm, I do not agree to this statement. This does sound and look like a good mix to me, no upmix. Some songs have more discrete elements than others - as usual. While I loaded the files to Audacity I realized that it appears to be a 4.1 mix...
The only great one I can remember is Pale Communion, I believe. And... maybe Heritage, too?
How is the surround mix?On the 4th listen (and 60 euros poorer) I'm starting to like the album
