It's paragrafs in a testament, it makes sense to me and it don't bother me. ;) Fantastic album and mix.
Well, it's more that it just further shows how much of a rigid story it is. From a production perspective though, It's kind of a bad idea. They might have been better off even just making the whole album one track with subsections.

A ripper's nightmare....
Yeah, remember the early copies of A Passion Play on CD that were one track only ?? I felt that album was easier to get into when the subsections were introduced. It helped me separate the parts in my mind and it made the album much more digestible.

*I have to make an exception: I honestly think Sorceress is a failure both in songwriting and production (and the 5.1 mix sucks).
There is no 5.1 mix of Sorceress. I'm sure it's a bad upmix. Nothing else. I did a Penteo from the CD which is 100 times better than this $h***y DVD.

Indeed. No easy stuff. No easy topic. Music fits well to it.
And Walt is a very talented young drummer who can sing as well. He will get some more jobs when playing live ;) (watched the making of yesterday).

Exactly!

edit: and after listening to some well recorded live renditions of that album's songs, I enjoyed them so much better than the studio versions that I'm realizing my issues might be with the production rather than with the song themselves. Don't take my previous comment too seriously
The Garden of Titans blu ray definitely won me over on that album
