I see the Sony BPX700/CA on sale. How do they compare?

The X700 can't read DVD audio. This is why i chose the X800.

I agree it's supposed to be good stuff. But since they are 5oz cans I would get more than one if it were me. I would still hose most everything down with WD40 first. (I don't know about the disc drawer mechanism...I've never been into one in an Oppo further than removing the lens cover and cleaning the laser lens.

Also another thing to check out, is the disc mechanism the same as other Oppo models? I've seen them pop up on EvilBay from time to time.
