So they’re saying the whole thing was held up over liner notes? I find, that the story sounds incomplete, whatever. And then the mix better be good. Those of us who saw the Animals tour in 1977 knows what it sounded like. A very aggressive and spooky at times mix.

But the fact that all the living band members approved the mix is good enough for me. Also, more people will be able to hear the surround mix with both a Blu-ray and DVD disc, with CD. Very good. We need something to buy now, so I hope Pink Floyd just gets on with the release.

Sheeesh, I saw the 4 discs headline and wondered what goodies were on the extra discs. Nothing. Just the same music on 4 different media formats. Sigh.

Well after reading Roger's liner notes on his web page and a snippet from his memoirs........ummmm unless this thin is coming out like sooooooooooon, Snood can't see Gilmour being none too pleased at all with Roger's beat around. Dunno if this will ever come out unless it already been printed and waiting in the warehouses.

As to Roger, he's being a wanker to the end.
None of us know the real truth to any of this but I have a sick feeling in my stomach that he just fired some flame thrower type shots at David and Polly. One's that he knows will tick David off big time and put another hold on the release, all in an attempt of making him look like the good guy and David the bad guy.
We shall see, hope I am wrong.

If Roger signed off on the release without the liner notes then it pretty much sounds like they all signed off on it. Dave is still pissed Roger lost his best take during recording and
he even said he had to go back and rerecord some parts but never got that perfect take again.

Any way glad it's finally coming and bummer that it will have a crappy vinyl pressing, likely from GZ

Because, given the amount of fan support PF has, you can make a lot more money selling a $100 box set that has four different redundant formats in it than if you sold individual CD/DVD/BluRay/LP sets at $20 a pop.

Bickering over liner notes that very few even bother to read. At least it looks to be coming out now, hopefully before one of them puts it down again...but I'd like to think Roger wouldn't post what he did (message, cover and formats etc) unless it was a done deal.

My guess is a fall release, Sept/Oct perhaps....just need time to delete all those pages in the booklet.
