Awesome news. Animals is one of my desert island albums. I hope there is a way to get it without having to buy vinyl, which is 100% useless to me.
It's both hilarious and sad that there is so much pettiness between these old men who should just be happy they wake up each day.

No - it is because the liner notes were typed in Ariel 10 font which Dave believes revels too much of the mythological origins of the releases and which Roger thinks does not provide him with enough credit.

It is one of the most iconic sounds in the history of music. In any case, if I created these masterpieces and the technicians I hired kept taking credit for them I'd be pretty annoyed too Just hopefully he waited until there was no stopping this thing from coming out.

Finally!...... However no mention yet of bonus content or video footage or live versions or the snowy version. Probably nothing extra apart from multiple versions of basically the same thing as per usual. SACD? Who knows.

That cash register sound effects tale is exactly that, some journalist credits David (not Dave,Woger) incorrectly and your making a thing of it, oh my goodness! I’ve lost count of how many times I have heard David himself say how Rog did it in a potting shed in his garden. Grow up you bitter old man! If this actually comes out now that you’ve said all this shit about David and Polly I’ll be stunned. I think Roger must not have been under that chair for every session either though! Where's the bit about touring with the first somewhat out of time Money loop and then reworking it for the album recording and tours after that? It's in all the live recordings. There are bits of interviews talking about it.

The defensiveness though, wow! Didn't realize things were this bad. That comment above comparing him to Adderall Boy isn't as off base as I had hoped! Too bad. I hope this mix doesn't suck!

As someone pointed out on another forum, David could have also been truthfully responding based on his work on the remake of Money for the A Great Collection Of Dance Songs compilation which had just come out. Roger is awful.

Without lots of extras like live stuff, demos, alt takes etc... they are really just milking us 5.1 surround sound fans by only offering the surround mix in this box.
