I wouldn't be surprised if this release already wasn't happening, and Waters posted that nonsense just so that he could blame Gilmour for it not happening. Waters doesn't deserve the sound of future cash registers.

This latest move in the feud between Roger and David, has put me in the mood to watch "Grumpy Old Men."

to me it looks more like Statler and Waldorf (Gilmour and Waters)

Roger seems to be taking a beating over his comments on social media and Pink Floyd and music forums.
It didn't seem to have helped his case but at least the fans will finally see this released.
He should be in use to by now since everything he writes or says musically or politically related gets a lot of people upset. On the Pink Floyd front I completely agree with him since I’ve been on a situation when someone else takes credit for my work. The clearer the credits are on any work the better.
I only hope this doesn’t push back the release of Animals

Without lots of extras like live stuff, demos, alt takes etc... they are really just milking us 5.1 surround sound fans by only offering the surround mix in this box.

Unless they license it to Analogue Productions for a 5.1 SACD release in special oblong packaging like Wish You Were Here and DSOTM!

Thankfully he speaks his mind whether he gets adored or beat down. You know HE doesn't care I am surprised YOU do.

Maybe David could use this to his favor to force Roger to comply with the release of Andy Jackson's 5.1 mixes of OBC and Meddle

I'm sorry but I missed the part where others were trying to take credit for Roger's work. Can you site an example, please?

Exactly. The credits have always been very clear. Roger still felt compelled to insert into the Animals proposed liner notes that he wrote the lyrics for the WYWH album.

The ‘others’ was referring to my own experience on matters like the one in question. With regards to David’s interview I’m referring that when someone directly or indirectly, indirectly meaning without explaining that the process was done by someone else not the person describing the process make someone, in that case the interviewer, assume the process was done by David. That’s all I’m referring to. Happy to clarify.

Roger-less Pink Floyd (David) re-recorded Money before the interview in question came out. How do you know he wasn’t explaining how he (David) did it? How does Roger know he wasn’t doing that? He doesn’t. Even if David hadn’t re-recorded Money why is it fair to criticize David if he interpreted the question about how “you” created an effect to mean “Pink Floyd” rather than David Gilmour and explain his understanding? Must he give Roger “the creative genius of Pink Floyd” Waters maximum credit by name every time he talks about anything Roger contributed to the band?
