Where did you read that? I'd heard nothing about it, and pitch correcting Freddie is sacrilege. Freddie bent notes deliberately when it suited what he was singing, so pitch correcting is the wrong thing to do. And anyway, when was Freddie not in tune. He never struck me as a singer that needed such help.
I don't know about this album, but Freddie's vocals on the Live at the Rainbow show were pitch corrected. I do agree about it being sacrilege.
