I recently purchased a sealed copy of Robin MacNamara "Lay a Little Lovin' On Me". I only just around to playing it today. I was going to post in the "Listening To Now" thread or the "One Hit wonder Day" thread but doing a quick internet search I just found out that he passed away in October.

I had always just assumed that Robin was female, a lot of male groups in the late sixties and early seventies sounded female. The five Stairsteps and the Stylistics come to mind. On other than the LP's title track he sounds more like Tommy James! On that LP I found my new theme song "Beer Drinkin' Man"!
