Didn't want to risk upstaging Ricky during the his construction phase. But now that it's about wrapped up, here's some pics of my auxiliary Listening Room. It was rather short lived, though. Seriously; Your entire new property is BEAUTIFUL, Ricky ! Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy ! !

Really impressive, HiFiMan. How are the sonics in that ice cave? Can a quad rig be far behind?

Now in the refinement phase. The slatwall hooks I was waiting on arrived. Put that felt board ( right @ar surround ? ) to work holding the bloated box sets. lol

It looks like you have a perfect balance between form & function. If this is what the AV Barn looks like, I can't even imagine what the main house looks like. I guess I will have to keep my eyes open to catch it on AD.

I've recently skimmed through this thread from beginning to now. The early blue prints were kind of confusing to me but now I can see what terrific foresight & planning went into this project. Looking forward to future updates on this thread.

Foresight and planning: But did Ricky include a place where he can display the Lombardi Trophy when the Lions lend it to him for a month next year?

actually Doc - Im a good customer of ole Gene Gene The Soybean Machine ! Im triying to keep up with the neighbors - specifically @4-earredwonder and QuadLinda
Ricko, I believe QUAD LINDA, hands down, has the largest collection of music of all QQ Members. But my collection of 4K/BD~V movies is INSANE!

But you are still the UNDISPUTED MQA KiNG đź‘‘

And kind regards to your QUEEN MARY!

Don't forget @fredblue. You will have to amass a major video collection to keep up Ralphie. And you'd need to have copies of various recordings in different release formats to keep up with @Quad Linda (not to mention, a definitive Miles Davis collection in mono and stereo!).

Dear Mr E...if I were to 'house' my entire collection of physical media including laserdiscs, DVDs, Open Reels [QUAD included] cassettes, RBCDs, DVD~As, SACDs and now 4K and BD~V discs I'd have to build a small high rise in my backyard to contain my extensive RAM [my initials] ARCHIVES!!!!!!

Hahaha, but if you did that you’d be left Random Access!

Ralphie does not have a car. He is New York royalty, he has a chauffeured limo
You don't have to be New York royalty to not have a car. Heck, millions of New Yorkers don't have driver's licenses. I grew up in the Bronx and got my license at age 25 when I was living in Washington State.
