The First release of BOS record had the artwork upside down, with a green cover. So, if you have one of these, they’re collector items. That’s my understanding of it, and how I remember first seeing it.

I hope this surround title does well, and we get more Trower.
I still have my original green copy. Never heard the upside down artwork story and always wondered why later versions had a tan cover.

After reading about this dang debacle last night, I ordered from the Chrysalis Records website and sent a cancellation request to Deep Disappointment, I mean Deep Discount. Now waiting to hear from both. So frustrating. Oh well, at least I will be "biding my time" with Animals Dolby Atmos on Friday

Well, its upside down and a lighter green on the front and the back is dark green. I bought that album during my weekly (after payday) record store stops on Fridays. Use to go to the same record store every Friday and buy 1 album to start the weekend. Usually bought a new release that was playing in the store.....this was during the mid 70's

Oh and to add.......Was very nice to listen to Bridge of Sighs without the snap, crackle & pops of a 50 yr old vinyl album. I only listened to the first disc in the set, as it was Hockey night in my house last nigh. Busy day today and tonight Rangers/Hurricane game so no listening tonight. Fiday is an all day motorcycle group ride, but have a rainy day sunday coming up :p

50 years and I never knew it was a real thing.
There's one in Cambridge England as well, Venice is the original.

Rest assured I'll give it a fair shake when my copy arrives, and I hope it's as engaging as you say.

However, enveloping (which can also mean just ambience fill to me, especially with just a few Rock instruments as is on this title) might be all we can expect . As I'm only able to witness up to 5.1, that's all I can attest to. On songs like the title track, with all the wind/chime type effects, I am hoping they made some interesting choices for the mix.
There are indeed some songs with sounds that traverse the speakers. Whether one considers them ambience or not I suppose is subjective.
When ya gonna get that Atmos thing going, my friend? :)

I was going to cancel my Amazon order and go with Chrysalis but they wanted $8+ for shipping.
So I will just be patient and stay with Amazon and free shipping.

Mine just arrived from Robin Trower dot com
Just finished the first listen and I think it's pretty awesome. I never knew there so many guitar parts to In This Place, there must've been around 4 different coming from everywhere. Too Rolling Stoned has taken on a whole new life with the clapping, shouting etc very prominent whereas on the original it just sounded all wooly and in the background. All in all a very worthwwhile purchase and one that will get repeat listening quite frequently. (y)(y):)
