Actually, the same packaging was used with the first Santana, Jeff Beck's Blow by Blow and Wired, Bloomfield/Cooper/Stills Super Session...They have changed the packaging. It is no longer a mini-lp sleeve but more of a cardboard box/wrapper

I have the debut album and it looks exactly like this. The others in the series so far have the mini-lp sleeve format.
Yes it is more a container than a replica sleeve. Just like the first Santana but I would argue the Super Session is simply a single lp sleeve and not like this.
