I had a chunk of lawn dug up over 20 years ago, and a large amount of gravel put down (the drive was already concrete) it worked for a few years! We seem to get much more rain now, plus the original concrete drive 'camber' meant water flowed back towards the house!Today I learned a new word:

Projects like that are never very gratifying. Besides being expensive it's frequently just to maintain something a home owner didn't want to mess with in the first place.
I could have replaced my current speakers with B&W 702 S3s and centre, probably heights as well for what it will have cost. But I live on one of the main roads into the town and reversing in and out was not that much fun ..... down here in the sticks even the horse and carts go quickly down the hill
