Sonos Arc update

After DISCONNECTING, the Arc HDMI, from my eARC input, on my Sony XR-77A80J,
all my DTS/CD's, DVD/A discs, & SACD/DSD's, play PERFECTLY, through the Sony TV
Sonos should be ashamed, not supporting the older formats, which to my ears,
bury any of the Atmos nonsense, streaming today
All they do is deny, & blame Sony; my UBP-X1100ES, & my TV
Love the Arc, but c'mon, we should be able to play ALL FORMATS,
not just the newer ones
Anyway, the TV sound is actually pretty good; not Sonos quality,
but Great for a television
Thoughts?

Late reply...Sonos made an update in early '22 (v12.2) that made playback of these formats possible.

I have an identical setup to yours, and I have been able to effortlessly play back everything I've tried EXCEPT SACD, which I have yet to untangle. A couple Sonos users in their message board community have claimed success, but I've been unable to duplicate it.

SACD gets to the TV, but not to the Arc.

Has your situation changed?

100%. Quite satisfactory for both music and movie soundtracks outside of this one issue.

I've been looking for an excuse to give Sonos a whirl vis a vis for my daughter's bedroom. A little more motivated now...!
