Thanks @GOS ! Sounds pretty groovy through the SM v.2 . . . but then everything sounds pretty groovy to me through the SM v.2!

Oh wow, talk about a blast from the past! I saw Fastway open for Iron Maiden, August 26, 1983 at the New Haven Coliseum. Say What You Will...!

Have you tried Wishbone Ash's "Argus"? If I remember correctly it sounded really good through my SM2 in Involve 4.0

I never had anything by them up 'till now, just liked the look of this, and it's exclusivity. BUT I did go backstage while they where performing at Queensway Hall Dunstable Bedfordshire UK when I was doing a fire safety inspection, I asked who was onstage and was told it was Fastway. I probably would have gone to the gig if I hadn't been working.

All this vinyl listening made me this morning fire up the Turntable!

First up was Hobo a UK band that only had this one 1976 album I believe (I saw them at least twice) on United Artists - Rockfield, which was given to me by the local promoter back in '76. They sound like a UK version of America, great harmonies, tuneful, and the Bassist even played the Bass with a bow on some songs. I tried with the SM2 but virtually nothing in the rear channels. Robert Plant did a gig with some ex-members of Hobo quite a few years ago, it was a benefit gig.
