This came out in 1974 the same year as that Gil Scott-Heron LP. I heard a great podcast interview with Russ Ballard so checking out some Argent material.

Picked this up thinking it was A Salty Dog UK repress of the album. Nope, it's a bunch of early singles. Don't regret buying it, but they could have picked a better title
I think the fact that the sailor doesn't really look that salty to begin with should be a clear indication that it's not the album proper. ;)

Still mfp did release some good sounding LPs. Enjoy!

Be *very* careful researching this title

I did find there's a quadraphonic version, SQ encoded.

I wonder if Rhino has access to the original masters for their quadio project? Would be a funny twofer with Herbie Mann's push push LP.

The brand new Pixies album - The Night The Zombies Came, Signed/numbered Assai Obi Edition, Crystal Clear & Smoky Red Colour. Assai is a shop in Scotland that brings out a lot of vinyl editions with the Obi strip, often signed and numbered, the vinyl is usually available elsewhere, but I like to collect these.
