I have the original Columbia two eye of this one somewhere, but this Sundazed reissue will do nicely.

I bought a few before this but it was in a misdirected way. This was the first album I loved, the first band I loved, and was a gateway to hard rock, heavy metal and a love of music that has stayed with me for 46yrs and counting.
Starting going through my old collection so time for A.
Alot of my stuff stick. And (you'll hit me) I often forced the needle through back in the old days! You can see the damage and ironically they mostly still stick there! But back in the 80s they were more a disposable thing. It was do that or don't play them
So far this one is the best one I've played. Haven't heard a scratch on first 3 tracks. And what a band they were back then. Loved Back in Black too.... but Bon was it. And I got bored after For Those About To Rock.
Getting tuned-up for some playoff football
Digging out some old vinyl, makes me really appreciate Rhino's Quadio lineup played thru an Oppo........lol
I had this at one time back in my first phase of vinyl purchases, but I gave away or sold so much of my collection I lost this one. I think it is their best. I really like the Bon era. Brian Johnson, although a super nice guy, just doesn't do it for me.Starting going through my old collection so time for A.

I bought Straight Between the Eyes on its release, but never went back and listened to the Dio stuff, even though I also had Holy Diver on vinyl. Finally about 6 years ago a client recommended this album. He was a HUGE all-things Ritchie Blackmore fan. I remember sitting in Houston traffic listening to "Stargazer" and my mouth was open. WHAT A BAND! Cozy Powell is one of my favorite drummers, so the fist 15 second had me hooked. Love it!Getting tuned-up for some playoff football
