Iam laughing, not because I've bought albums twice, but I have alot of CD's I've bought twice ( same format) and 2 CD's that I've bought 3 times and 1 of them was shipped from the other side of the world

I am guilty of the same. I have bought albums, CDs and Blu-Rays twice. Fortunately, I am updating my inventory on Discogs, but it is taking forever, so I'm sure I'll buy more albums that I already own. My Blu-Ray/DVD/4K inventory on Blu-Ray.com is pretty up to date.

Throughout last year I went through the process of putting my whole library on Discogs. It was both impressive and something that I must never, ever, let my wife see because of some of the prices I’ve paid for stuff on Discogs.

Perhaps I shouldn’t admit this publicly, but I really like Never Say Die. Then again I love the Gillan/Hughes/Martin eras of Sabbath more than the rest, so I’m probably the oddball Sabbath fan.

I just finished Martin Popoff’s book about Sabbath in the 80s and 90s and loved it... a deep dive (really deep) into every album and what was happening within the band. You don’t often get that good of an exploration of an artist’s less popular eras and albums. (Sabbath with Dio obviously did pretty well in the early 80s, but after that it was rough sledding.)

Never Say Die is a great album. At that time, it was out of place for many. There was not a classic feel to the music. I thought it was very progressive of them to move in this direction and would like to have heard the next album. However, it was not to be. No guilt in enjoying this one!

To me, jazz always sounds wonderful through the Surround Master, especially with larger groups like this one (more than a dozen players on some tracks). I'm right in the midst of Gil Evans's orchestra, with soloists coming from the rears. Johnny Coles is especially good, which makes sense, given his billing. This is a very enjoyable release. If Svengali was too "out there" for you, give this a spin! Highly recommended!
