Perhaps I shouldnāt admit this publicly, but I really like Never Say Die. Then again I love the Gillan/Hughes/Martin eras of Sabbath more than the rest, so Iām probably the oddball Sabbath fan.
I just finished Martin Popoffās book about Sabbath in the 80s and 90s and loved it... a deep dive (really deep) into every album and what was happening within the band. You donāt often get that good of an exploration of an artistās less popular eras and albums. (Sabbath with Dio obviously did pretty well in the early 80s, but after that it was rough sledding.)
