Not feeling that hopeful for a 5.1 mix.
Agreed, The Mission had an excellent 5.1 mix. What doesn't help sales is that the 5.1 bluray version came out a while after the CD release. Surely, if they're going to release a 5.1 version, it would make sense to release it at the same time.Perhaps the sales of The Mission CD/Blu-Ray didn't meet their expectations? I really liked that album as well, and the somewhat unorthodox 5.1 mix made it sound absolutely huge.

On the previous album, they were "already" talking about surround pre-release. (IIRC)
The fact Amazon UK says vinyl and CD, well.
I saw this the other day and thought to myself, that can’t be a Styx, the rock group from Chi-town album because I’ve never heard of it.More Styx if you enjoy THIS format
Styx, who is famous as a popular band of American progressive rock, is the best compilation album of songs....
Don’t shoot the messenger.Prog eh?????
Prog eh?????
I've heard them. I still don't know that I'd call them a progressive band. Its debatable I guess. I'd call it hard rock with maybe a few proggy moments. Much like Uriah Heep and early Journey.Well, their first couple albums are very interesting and not what you might expect.
I had this Japanese import LP back in the day. Sound quality was outstanding. (Still preferred the various audiophile LPs - Original Master Recording, half speed masters and the DBX records - anyone remember that format?) btw- track 8 is more commonly known as Renegade....i found this:
