Has anyone in the UK received their bluray yet? I got an e-mail last Wednesday to say that my copy was on the way, but it's still not arrived! Even second class UK to UK post shouldn't take this long!

Received my copy in the US yesterday, exactly 8 days after getting the shipping notice. The SDE packaging was very robust. Have listened a couple of times to both the Dolby Atmos and 5.1 mixes. Not quite ready to vote yet, but will likely be a 9 or 10. The Dolby Atmos mix is a new high bar from Steven Wilson and pretty much blows the 5.1 mix out of the water. Great fidelity and production, with the music having just enough quirk and off kilter prog touches to keep it interesting. Seems to get better with each listen - also the disc sounds a bit more refined and less muffled than what I hear on Apple Music. The only minor nitpick I have is there is no hi-res stereo mix included.

I ordered mine using the 2nd class post option (yes, I'm a cheapskate ;) ) I too got the dispatch notice on Wednesday, and it arrived late last week - Friday, I think? ...only a day or two after a mate of mine who used the more expensive option. So, yes, you may want to think about contacting them.

Besides, if you're anything like me complaining that something hasn't arrived yet always guarantees it'll turn up straight afterwards. ;)

Got my copy. I’m on my third listen through. It sounds even better than the stream. Cleaner, clearer. More defined sounds and panning. Truly Mr Wilson’s mix shines like the sun. The sun and the moon. The wind and the rain. Wait wrong album.

I’m in the same boat it’s still pending on “out for delivery” as of this morning! Guess it will hopefully be in my hold mail when I get back!

As I posted on SDE last night:
Listening to the DTS 5.1 mix on the Blu-Ray.
AbFab in my opinion.
Kudos to Paul, TFF, Steven Wilson & the label for making this happen.
Wonderful.
More than we could have hoped for, really.
Not incidentally- was stopped in my tracks by the lyric “Freedom Is No Small Thing”
Indeed, given the headlines of the day.
Peace ☮️

Maybe I've gotten too used to the compressed stereo presentation, but the drums on the 5.1 mix sound a bit buried and lacking 'oomph' in certain spots (particularly throughout "Master Plan"). I wonder if SW was working with a stereo stem of the entire kit rather than separate multitrack recordings of the kick, snare, overheads, etc? There's very little drum sound in the rear speakers, aside from the odd (sampled?) tom-tom hit. I miss the huge room-filling drums from the Songs From The Big Chair and Seeds Of Love 5.1 remixes.

This album honestly sounds like it was made with fake/programmed drums or at least half of it does. There's some amazing samples out there that sound just like the real thing when you want it to. High hats definitely sound fake and most of the snares have a very specific sound to them, especially in the poppier songs. Its just too perfect. Those songs from the SiriusXM sessions and Colbert show are what the new songs would sound like with a real drummer on them. I'm kind of surprised they didn't use triggers on the snare to get those specific sounds.

Looks like some of the glitch SDE CD orders actually shipped yesterday!
Wondering why they still haven’t got around to the blurays.. hopefully soon.
