Kind of regretting that I didn't get the Blu Ray when it was available, but I wasn't sure what to think of a new TFF after such a long hiatus. Listening to it now, you just know from the stereo mix that it would be perfect for the surround setup. It's also a very solid album with a bit of retro 80s sheen to it. There was a time when I would've thought that this was just boring old people music, but now that I'm a boring old person, it hits all the right notes. Very mellow throughout, but most certainly musical and downright beautiful at times.

I don't know that I would call "My Demons" or "Master Plan" or "End of Night" mellow...

Earlier when I was reading criticisms of the Blu Ray disc for not having a stereo mix, I dismissed them. But then I pulled out my old Blu Ray of Songs From The Big Chair and noticed it does have a stereo mix on it. Now it seems more weird to me that they didn't include something...

Paul addressed this in a comment, saying that there were "restrictions". Anyway they would've just slapped the same compressed mastering on it, if the hi-res download or the LP (which apparently sounds worse than the CD) is anything to go by.

the big mail slowdown, in general, is a reason also, my order went in super early, and lately has been just sitting in L.A. for days after sitting many days also at LANGLEY HWDC.

In the same boat here. My Blu-ray has been sitting in L.A. since 2/24. What's more annoying is that I also ordered SDE's exclusive RBCD of the album. It shipped on the same day. It entered the country via New York, went to my local distribution center in Massachusetts and then came to me in Connecticut. Why my Blu-ray entered the country via California is anybody's guess... Still waiting impatiently.....

Yes. I returned my defective Target Exclusive vinyl version and opted not to replace it.

Mine showed up today. Here's what's on the disc:

Just got bluray delivered...should i open it or just listen ob Apple n sell it?

Decisions...hmmm
Don't hate me for this, I have had mine for a week now, still in the wrapper. To be honest I think the only reason I bought this disk was due to the limited run. I mean, I like the band, but I wouldn't run out to buy tickets if they decided to tour in support of it. The tracks on Tidal that I skimmed through did not initially latch on to my ear. There are a couple of listings on Discogs for a princely sum. I don't know...should I or should I not?

I’d sell it for its cost and shipping to someone that will really appreciate it. I don’t see this as a valuable disc in the future. Prices will be up there but like you, the overall consensus for this album is rather lukewarm from reviews I’ve seen, so I don’t see it as classic must own.

I ordered mine using the 2nd class post option (yes, I'm a cheapskate ;) ) I too got the dispatch notice on Wednesday, and it arrived late last week - Friday, I think? ...only a day or two after a mate of mine who used the more expensive option. So, yes, you may want to think about contacting them.

Besides, if you're anything like me complaining that something hasn't arrived yet always guarantees it'll turn up straight afterwards. ;)

You were right, mine has just turned up after 8 days!

Anyone else’s TFF blu-Ray still showing in Slough England! My tracking shows no difference from February 18 to now! USPS tracks the same way!
