Yes, & I like the play of the Lions now. Too true...lol

Bills first!

We have a jinx on the Ravens and Jets since the last meeting...guessing... :ROFLMAO:

Oh yeah, JohnN? You just wait for Feb 9, 2025: Joe Namath comes out of retirement to lead the NY Jets to a stunning upset over 18 point NFC favorite Baltimore Colts in Super Bowl LVIII.

In other news, Jets QB Aaron Rodgers accepts position as backup to Jeopardy host Ken Jennings.

Coffee? Tea? Double Blue Kool aid?

GO BILLS!

Did you ever have to make up your mind? You can’t like the Chiefs if you want the Bills to get the first round bye. And you have to pick a side if both teams make it to the AFC Championship Game (and we KNOW that the Chiefs will be there!).

Are the Bills Canada’s team?

On drugs? Aaronnie Surround?

Bills to beat the L-ions in Super Bowl is my wish. Southern Ontario Bills fan here. My mission is to jinx the Chiefs...I've been paid with the Jets fund for LA.

Forgive me- the devil made me do it.:devilish:

We were always told on this side of the border that Canadians were such nice people, eh?

An intoxicated Joe Namath wants to kiss your sideline reporter.

Aaron was 3rd string behind Mayim Bialik.

Hey JohnN, why aren’t they called the Maple Leaves? You know, like in that jazz standard, “Autumn Leafs”?
Why is the name of the Toronto Maple Leafs spelled wrong? Why are they not the Toronto Maple Leaves? Maple Leaf is a proper noun, and thus the plural is Maple Leafs, not Maple Leaves. In English, proper nouns have regular “-s” plurals, even if the word in question normally has an irregular plural.

I try to learn something new every day. Thanks to @JohnN I can rest easy for today.

Thanks John. Of course, a plurality of Canadians would properly speak the King’s English! A cuppa Joe and a Tim Horton’s donut for you!

What I get a giggle out of is how or why Canucks pronounce "Z" as Zed. Then would it be Zed Zed Top? What about "X" pronounced as "Z"? A Zedrox copy machine?

they are as close as it gets, actually.
actually ? no

The closest Canadian border to a major U.S. city is from Detroit, Michigan, to Windsor, Ontario. The two cities are separated by the Detroit River, and the distance across the river is just about 0.5 miles (approximately 0.8 kilometers). This makes it one of the quickest crossings between a major U.S. city and Canada.

I wasn't actually talking about distance. Population wise, Toronto is Canada's largest Metropolitan area. Its 90 minutes away. I'll bet there is a lot more Bills tickets sold to Canadians than Lions tickets. The Bills have also played regular season games in Toronto, multiple times. At one point, Toronto interests were trying to buy the Bills team and move them to Toronto.
