Happy Friday! Cheers!!

I had some wonderful sours in Bardstown KY and will post/rave about then when I am back home and can crop the pictures.

It almost feels like Sapporo killed them on purpose, buying them in 2017 and losing an increasing amount of money every year save for one.
I have been buying their Christmas Ale every year for about 15 years and often have their porter laying around.
They will be missed.

Its amazes me to see the cycle repeat -
1. small micro brewery starts up with the anti-establishment -screw-you big-beer mantra
2. they produce fantastic product and grow leaps and bounds
3. they get big and sell out to - yup - big beer
4. big beer commercializes them and they become exactly what they started out NOT to be. The creativity and experimenting disappears in
favor of mass produced bland

The most famous buzz kill in my area ---Founders Brewing.

Im seeing Bells Brewing teetering.

Goose Island........there are many examples throughout the US

At least AB:In-Bev has kept their hands off BCBS.
Yeah, I expect Stonne and Dogfish to lose their appeal over the next 5 years or so.

The biggest issue is once you get to a certain size, and Sam C from Dogfish talks about this, to get loans you need outside investors. So stay small, take on other members or sell.
