Eric Claptons Crossroads 2023 concert coming to Los Angeles on Sept 23-24 at Crypto.com Arena. Tickets are going on sale to the public this Friday (tomorrow)

Pearl Jam just announced like 9 live shows in Aug/Sept and they happen to be playing Chicago during a two week visit for me... so I put myself in for fan club seats. If I get both, I am pretty sure I will have seen them more in Chicago than in my home town of Portland, OR!

I'm not gonna lie. Cheap Trick in terms of sheer talent, quality of show, excellent vocals..yeah, he hits all the high notes with seeming ease....are easily one of the best shows I've ever seen. I mean, for the genre. I'm in awe of those guys. They do this **** non stop since the 70's and sound this good? Zander is 70, Nielson is 74. Amazing.

I saw them from about 10 feet away 1987 Spring Weekend at UConn and it was an awesome show. Co-headlined with Joan Jett but it was all about Cheap Trick for me.

Wow.. that gig was like a big spiritual experience...Seal is awesome live..Love Divine indeed!
Also had the great pleasure of meeting Tim Weidner, one from our QQ Hall of Fame and talked about moving to ATMOS which he is doing; he signed my Seal Best of DVD-A booklet, great guy ("Nice to meet you!" too), but the best is last and I met one of OUR heroes, he was a GENTLEMAN-couldn't have been nicer!!! He even signed the covers for Yes' "Drama" and "Fly from Here-Return Trip"("oh , you have THIS one!", "yes, i prefer this one cause you remixed it and added other stuff!"...smile)..."God" himself- TREVOR HORN!

How cool is this?
NO, I WILL NOT SELL NEITHER OF THESE, they are gonna be mounted on my walls soon!... and , Yes, the Drama one is a Japanese pressing..
BTW, he told me he had not SEEN the FFH LP pressing so I told him to have a look.. and he did..
His eyes lit up when I started talking about studio stuff and he actually started thinking about the answers instead of brushing me off...found out that Jon Anderson's voice in "Owner.." is put through a 224 but that I'd have to ask Gary Langham for details...
