Just FYI - we always ship international orders as early as we can so that you get the item as close to release date as possible. However normally the earliest about a week earlier than release (the Friday before). The stock did indeed arrive on Friday but the whole 'goods in' process takes around a day, which is why shipping started today. I think if you are in America you are going to have to be lucky to get your goods in 5 working days, but really this is the best we can do. Certainly better than shipping on the 9th. In general, labels tend to not give 'new release' stock to retailers until the Tuesday before release, so as it is we're getting special treatment, to a degree. UK orders are likely to start shipping on Wednesday, possibly Tuesday. Bearing in mind there are almost 7,000 units to ship, so your patience is always appreciated. Cheers, Paul
Huge thanks to you and Anne and everyone involved with the brilliant SDE Atmos Discs, you all deserve medals….. ummm now there’s an idea, Pink Floyd’s Meddle in Atmos and the (not) unreleased Andy Jackson 5.1 mix would be a coup for SDE. If you can pull that off it would be amazing 😻

Hi @PaulatSDE Thanks for all the releases so far.
I‘m hoping for a-ha’s Hunting High and Low as Mr Wilson has confirmed (I believe) that he mixed the entire album in Atmos. Sorry, I realise you can’t say but…..
P.S. Hopefully there’s plenty more 80s classic pop to come
Yep. More 80s pop would be great. And 90s. 00s Neo Soul would be up my alley as well. That Erykah Badu album now streaming is fun in surround. I'd be all in for a hard copy of that. Or some india.arie?

Frankly, I'm rather burnt out on 70s classic rock at this point. Unless it's going to be some major previously not-in-surround artist that I'm guessing would be beyond the reach of SDE. (Led Zep, ELO, Supertramp, etc.) But I guess anything's possible these days with Atmos having ripped the lid off of things.

I'd LOVE to do HHAL of course :)

I'm in California, haven't had any issues with SDE shipping (I know shipping is always a hassle, especially international these days) and am very appreciative of the work Paul & the others are doing at SDE!

Received Tubular Bells recently and have the shipping notice for the next TFF.

Any idea Paul about when the next one will be announced? :)

Not too long to wait for the next one :)

Somehow I missed out on the Tears For Fears The Tipping Point, I got the Hurting but not the Tipping Point so if anyone out there has an extra copy they want to sell please contact me. Thanks.

No, there wasn't any discussion. With these blu-rays, it's very hard to get beyond the actual album. Normally the label has made the decision to create an Atmos Mix (primarily for streaming) so bonus content is hard to get and if you do get something it's likely to be stereo only. I'm sure the multis exist but everyone is working to a budget. We were very lucky with The Hurting because Steven Wilson found those Mike Howlett versions and partly because he has a great relationship with the band, they got approved. It was remarkably generous of TFF and Universal to allow them to be included on the blu-ray. Obviously, I'd love to include remixes, B-sides etc. but the process doesn't really work like that. You've never going to get all the chocolates from the box!
Guess we'll have to wait until Saturnine, Martial & Lunatic gets its Atmos release, then. ;)

I hate to state the obvious and know there are some that don't agree with me but
at times I just have to throw out a thanks and express my feelings of gratitude to
Steven Wilson. I can't think of another single person who has done as much for our
passions as Steven. From his personal large catalog of recordings both in bands and
solo, his great remasters of classic recordings, his passion for multich of all types and
the enthusiasm he's put into it's promotion. I find it incredible that this one man has
done so much for our little corner of the industry.
Thanks Again Bro, you freakin rock!

I received my Tubular Bells today! Wonderful, simply wonderful :)

I think every single mix of that album ever has been included (correct?). I guess a completist might argue that the 2003 re-recording (stereo & 5.1 versions) could've been included. Oh well, I already own that one anyway
