I totally understand. I, like a few others, consider buying 2 copies of my favorites. One to open and enjoy, and another to stash away. Guess I'm not looking to sell those.
Of course, we all know that GOS can go on a rampage and sell off stuff at an alarming rate.
I usually get two if it is a disc I would play often as I have a system upstairs and one downstairs so I don’t have to deal with the stairs. Especially if it is later in the evening. These 75 year old legs don’t always cooperate.

My situation is unique. I didn't buy the big box. But I did buy the Blueray disk from a member who only wanted to keep the stereo stuff and the print media. I think it cost $40 US. But I didn't get any real slipcase. If I didn't have that I'd buy this. As far as it's quality, it's worthy and has its moments, but some of the best mixes are the bonus tracks. Sonics are good but not great. But hey, it's Who's Next in surround by Wilson. It's a must have. It's going to be interesting to see how many of this sells. It's a gauge of interest in unboxed surround discs.
Maybe you will sell it back. Split boxes have half price when selling those. Never split boxes! Your children will say bad about your action ;-)

Anonymous sources are saying there is no truth to the rumor that The Who official store will be releasing a stand-alone blu-ray of just the instrumental tracks in Atmos and 24/96 stereo for $10.98 in February 2025.....yet.

As this has a preorder window closing on Nov. 1st, rather than an already-set pressing limit, I'll wait to order until closer to then in case any other exclusives are announced in the interim.

SDE was supposed to announce two exclusives on the same day in late September, but they only ended up announcing the Thompson Twins (Into The Gap). I wonder if Who's Next was supposed to be the second?

I was thinking today that it would be fantastic (for those of us living in the USA) if SDE would announce and release two titles at a time. This would allow us to potentially purchase more than one title and save $$ on shipping. I'm assuming this would help others that don't live in Europe as well.
I assure you that this would help a lot for us who live in Europe as well.
