an eternal favorite of mine...found a SEALED LP of a US pressing...am quite pissed off cause , even though it's sealed, it's dirty and looks like a BAD pressing..it even has some scratches!!!, oh well..
I know it's NOS cause the shrink looks legit and it has the sticky remains of a circular record store sticker...at least it's a LOUD pressing and it SIZZLES on my Shibata stylus....

and if I needed it, but , just for gigs and shittles I managed to get that "elusive" Japanese pressing...
It seems to be in pristine shape in spite of having a few spindle marks...
Interesting thing: it had an old style white and orange striped paper folder sticker with "Samuel L. Jackson Jr." written in typewriter in the back cover...although it seems to be a quite common name, I still wonder...

This pressing WIPES the floor any other US pressing I have heard, and I have about four US pressings of this...the clarity and fidelity are ASTOUNDING!!

Since I was talking bout this the other day, I happened to check fleabay and ther was one just like this one that sold for $100+ with a bunch of bids so I thought... oh well, it's not gonna be easy nor cheap...
but, all you have to do is LOOK and there it was.. a SEALED COPY FOR $20 from a USA seller!!! well, I thought, if they are gonna GIVE IT AWAY, I might as well....just noticed that there is no UPC code anywhere...
Gonna spin it right now!

Kap I also like the Yes sampler Yesterdays. Has cuts from the first two albums plus America. (I have the original Age of Atlantic record with America on it.)

Love this double LP. Is Mobile Fidelity CD a sonic improvement?

Because you can never have too much in your “bought but haven’t had a chance to listen to yet” pile... these 17 discs from 1973 shows were just added today.

No way was I going to spread things out for a photo, so I stole the one from the Dead.

If I had been wiser, I might have gone with the FLAC version and spared myself the ripping task that’s in front of me.

Kap, I'm sure you know that Sgt. Pepper movie and 2 LP shipped double linoleum. Not a bad album, though. Got a sealed copy several years ago for $2. Had EWF & Aerosmith promo LP's of the albums their tracks here were on.

this one is outta left field, NIcky Aponte is a puertorrican violinist who recorded his 1st LP in 1985 and I saw them live in San Germán, PR (second oldest city in the Americas)and they were awesome.. it's basically like Jean-Luc Ponty... there is NO way to find even a youtube video with this, only a snippet in soundcloud... I used to have this many moons ago but it vanished...I had a PR pressing in an independent release but I found out it was also released in a Spanish BASQUE label so I got it for about 5 EUR...

I headed to Squeezebox in Evanston to pick up a copy of the latest Craft Recordings release of Albert King's Born Under A Bad Sign that Tim set aside for me . . . after browsing through the SALE bin, i had an additional 10 LPs. All fit nicely into my disk union carrying bag, recently acquired in Tokyo to help me carry my loot!
