Probably RM. Play it as QS, since QS is based on RM. You can also use the Dolby Pro Logic II processor in your receiver to decode it. If it's QS/RM, it will decode properly.
Jim Stagg, a friend of mine who owned Record City and was a Chicago DJ, had a guy managing one of his stores that I got to know. "Oh, I'm leaving Jim and going to be a buyer at Peaches in Milwaukee. So, you won't get to see me anymore." I replied, "sure I will. I visit accounts there for a day or two every week." So, I got deals at Peaches, too. It was a huge store, which used to be a Red Owl supermarket. Fantastic imports and Quads. I miss Peaches.

We had Peaches here, too. I used to love the store on Sunrise Blvd and NE 15th Ave. It's a Hustler store now.
Been adding some QS records including this one, I'll post images of additional ones later:

Interesting... this appears to be a Westminster release, which I believe was a division of ABC Records when this was released. Maybe a "hidden" QS?
I like the turntable, and have the same one in white as well. I plan to use it to play CD-4. What cart is that? It is not the stock ortofon.
It's a Rega MM Carbon. At this stage I'm only just getting into the matrix side of Vinyl and have yet to look at CD-4. I would be very interested to know what cart you would recommend for that purpose. So far I have been impressed with this cart and QS decoding via DPLII but I'm looking forward to getting the new vinyl SQ/QS optimized version of the Surround Master to really see what it is capable of.

Not a new acquistion, but an older one. Still remember reporting it just in time for Larry Clifton's Quad Supplement.

Any good stereo cartridge will do a great job for QS and SQ records. Nothing special needed. That Rega should do a terrific job.
Apart from being a lot of fun, I believe this album has historical importance as the only quadraphonic release by an Australian popular artist (happy to be proven wrong there) - even though the quad was US only and the Aus version was stereo only.
I gave copies of a decode to Mic and Jim Conway, the brothers behind the band who had never heard the quad mix. At the time I sent it to them they had no means to hear it in four channels but maybe someday.
Wasn't Helen Reddy Australian? She had 4 quad 8-tracks in North America, I have 2 and love them.
Three more recent acquisitions. Likely the Billingsgate pressing is not the greatest, if even a real SQ, but looking forward to cranking it anyhow.
