What's the latest Multichannel SACD or DVD-A added to your pile? - Vol 1 (CLOSED)

Congrats, it's DEMO SACD, wonderful...Industry standard mixes(beautiful music too!), and one of the best sounding SACDs ever (I may have to check its spectrum)
and however much you paid for it , IT'S WORTH IT!!!!

Thank you ! It's exceptional !!! Like you say, definitely a demo disc ! All speakers are used to their fullest extent.....listened a few times now, and i think it's a serious contender for best Surround SACD ever made ! ?

I paid £82 + £3 postage, but the disc, jewel case & inlay are in excellent condition. This kind of complete's my collection for expensive discs. ( I THINK !! ?? )

despite being an early TH album, the surround mix is as nice as the others. I'm so glad we got all the Heads' albums in surround, they are really excellent (and very adventurous!) mixes

Agreed. Now to find 'Little Creatures', 'True Stories' and 'Naked' at sensible prices...

I've just found two of them newly listed with very reasonable starting prices, but until now, most sellers I've seen are asking £40 to £60 :-/

And I have never found 'True Stories' anywhere

JM Jarre "Oxygene, the new master" and "Aero" - two titles that I only discovered thanks to this wonderful forum! Giving Oxygene it's first play (in DTS) and enjoying it very much!

its good but I prefer the 5.1 Aero - the surround mix is fantastic and the fidelity is up there with the best DTS stuff.

there's loads of "expensive" rock & pop ones worth getting if you like Avalon (not least the 2 x Bryan Ferry SACDs - also must have's, they're superb) but if I were to list them all here it'd take me all night!

The other Bryan Ferry SACD's are pricey too ! I need to put a stop to paying high prices for discs. ( I've got " The Holy Grail " now, so i'm satisfied......FOR NOW !! ( Until i type in ebay ! )

I saw the Frantic disc for a reasonable price quite sometime ago, ( from our famous U.K. seller ! ) He also has had the Boys & Girls SACD for sale, for sometime !

Just won the Cosmo's Factory SACD by Creedence Clearwater Revival on eBay.
It's the last one I needed, the hardest to find and the most expensive.
Got all the others at retail or under, this one was $56

I played Aero straight after Oxygene and I agree; it's superbly well done; a real head-fcuk (in a good way!) I don't usually like surround to be too "gimmicky" but it works really well in this case - probably because he set out to create a surround show-peice rather than the more usual situation of a "new" engineer adding "surround gimmicks" to an already existing peice.

So pleased I found it (thanks to you guys and gals!) and I got it (and oxygene) at a knock-down price too!
