Just finish buying 4 on e-bay George Benson (Breezin) Simple Minds (Once upon a time) Beatles (love) and Tom Cochrane & Red Rider (Trapeze) all DvD Audio.....

I hope you got a good price on Breezin' as it will be available soon on AF for under $30(street price should be in mid 20's)

The old DVD-A will still be worthwhile for the two bonuses.. the latter of which, "Down Here On The Ground" is the only truly great sounding track in surround on the disc and just happens not to be plagued by the curious channel level anomalies of all the other songs on the DVD-A (i.e. it doesn't sound like it was recorded in a bloody CAVE..!!!!@: )

But, but, but it was good according to the "creative team":yikes

haha! :D I fear the teams creative with the truth ;)

still, its a creative use of the word "good".. shame they only settled for good, you'd hope the 'team' might have gone one better and aspired to excellence.

"if it wasn't for bad they'd be good.."

So you say $30 even $20 that is very unlikely. Is AF some music store..

A F Audio Fidelity - the company that makes the gold CD's, http://www.audiofidelity.net/
and 180g LP's and hybrid SACD's -now doing multi-channel SACD's. very exciting news as they have some good titles in production. Even the SH forums are interested. (odd for stereo lovers and audiophiles)

AF is Audio Fidelity, both a label and a store.
Ok like Blu Ray and Sacd, far as blu ray universial said they would be releasing 200 high fidelity blu ray soon but that was last year, and I haven't seen anything that would catch my interest. And I can't see any of the new hybrid Sacd going for under 50 bucks but you have to remember the George Benson I bought is dvd audiio which I consider the better music format.

On this specific disc it's not going to matter if it's dvd-audio or SACD because the mix is the same and to be candid the mix on the DVD-Audio isn't good. The street price for this at other sites will be less than this

Actually, the 2 multichannel SACD's from AF are at most $29.99. I bought both on Amazon.ca at $26.47 each. I don't have a preference for SACD or DVD-A. They both sound good to me. I do support the effort to bring out more multichannel discs. If you keep an eye on the new threads for new albums, you will see tips on where to get things cheaper. Some of us (not I) are good at finding deals and posting them on the QQ site.

I just visited that site and your right Breezin was going for $30 good deal but it's Sacd...

I have thought of buying a few Sacd because we all know they do have the best selection, but then i'd have to find a way to convert to Flac so i'm able to pick and choose my music.

Picked up on e-bay for $39 George Benson (Breezin) Simple minds (Once Upon A Time)for $105 Beatles (Love) for $15 and Tom Cochrane & Red Rider (Trapeze) for $18 all dvd audioo
