I think I need to get my little music library up to speed, in filing it properly..

Indeed it is one of the best! I know you like the center vocals, so I think you're gonna like the mix

I've never seen it with the large hinge DVD-A case, mine has the smaller hinges.

Never heard of that one, but I love the Barber and the Copland--and I like the fact that they're paired with works by some younger composers.

Olga Neuwirth, Lost Highway (see discussion of a recent performance of an orchestral "suite" from this oratorio here). I'm fairly adventurous, but this is a little too longhaired even for me. The vocal recitatives (from David Lynch's film of the same name) are mainly spoken, not sung, and confined to the fronts, sometimes CF, sometimes RF/LF. Rears are used discretely but sparingly for electronics and atmospherics. Orchestral parts are fronts only.

I don't usually add to these lists, but the night before Thanksgiving I was in one of the Bullmoose stores and came upon this "mini-collection".
Someone must have literally parted with a collection, because there were also three stereo-only SACD's.



I was quickly browsing through the D-section of the alphabet after another artist and the cardboard sleeves caught my eye, and then the SACD logo.
I'am not a Dylan fan, but at those prices for multi-channel, I couldn't pass it by.

I just added Sting "Brand New Day" to my pile. Love this album and the surround mix by Elliot Scheiner does not disappoint. So far, I've given it a quick listen before work and it was awesome!
