R.E.M. - Around The Sun

Supposedly this is one of R.E.M.'s worst albums (see some of the comments here), but what I've heard so far really isn't that bad. The opening track "Leaving New York" is rather catchy actually. Some great front/rear split vocals at the end.

A pair of Beethovens, both (I think--they arrived a couple of weeks ago now, so I forget!) from jpc.de. The Eschenbach piano concertos were around €8, the Cremona quartets around €35.

OMG!! You have no idea! My truck breaks down to a $400.00 plus bill- I get a drunk slamming into my truck, my fridge stops working, I got to hock my speakers to pay bills I missed while in hospital- my good friend had a heart attack and past away-I got the two biggest idiots on earth as tenants in one apartment, my bank is overdrawn - and for sdome unknown reason, I'm not feeling any of what I am supposed to be. I was bummed but now? I have denied myself the pain and sadness- I refuse to fall for emotional outbursts, like WTF I look at sone who are far worse off than me and it's not so bad then. Plus I love busting her bauzz!!!! Luv you QL!!

Such a gorgeous album and well worth the investment. ImportCD had it for under $14 but now lists it as a back~order ..... so I'd order it NOW!

Really wish more of Verve's CURRENT JAZZ albums were remixed for 5.1!
