I had the same issue after a Windows 10 update, I thought it was to do with SMB, but it wasn't, I had to get a friend who runs an IT company to help.Well I'm not sure when this happened but my Windows 11 computer no longer displayed under the 'Network' location: -

And although the 'Synology_NAS' is displayed, it's very slow at being identified on my 'Private' network even with 'Discovery' switched 'On'. By contrast my old Windows 10 laptop displays both very quickly...
Does anybody know the obvious things to investigate this issue?
Its to do with Windows Security & Network Credentials (apparently MS say they don't know what is safe on a network so they wipe out old settings! ), I had to re-enter my Admin passwords for the NAS in Windows, then it worked.
