Here are 4 more that I missed from that Schwann Guide from 75.

J Geils-Bloodshot on Atlantic ,

Rod Stewart-Atlantic Crossing on WB

Jethro Tull - M.U. Best Of on Chrysalis/Reprise

Aretha Franklin -With Everything I Feel on Atlantic

-There was also the strange fight between Warner and Mercury over
"Rod Stewart's - Smiler".
Mixed in quad with the tape rights given to Warner , vinyl rights given to Mercury . This was supposed to be a Q8 release , but the labels shuffle or kerfuffle likely halted it's release.

No Sabotage did not ....only the Schwann listing with quad prefix number .
And wasn’t there a rumour that Sabbath Bloody Sabbath was supposed to get a quad mix too? That’s one of my favourite Sabbath records and would be a dream come true if there ended up being a quad mix just sitting in the vaults waiting to be unearthed 😱😱

Homecoming wasn't a '70s quad mix, it's a new 5.1 version that was mixed by Elliot Scheiner in 2001. That said - in addition to Hearts, Holiday was also released on CD-4 LP, quad 8-track, and reel-to-reel in the '70s.
My apologies. I was mistaken about Homecoming. But I sure would love both Hat Trick and Holiday in surround. I guess an America Quadio box is not possible.

Yes there was , but not a rumour . I forgot my titles and mentioned SBS in error ,and it should have been Sabotage. So I apologize for that one.

Thing to remember is that when they were listed as new quad listings in The Schwann Record And Tape Guide....they always appeared in the local shops within a couple weeks or were actually there.
So my disappointment that they didn't happen after a few weeks caused a lot of frustration and misinformation.
I read in one of the audio mags at the time that Warner killed their Quad program entirely and destroyed equipment. I absolutely doubted that as they had just announced this big set of new quad titles . There were a lot of quad naysayers in those audio magazines at the time. They were always pessimistic. And CBS Columbia Records also announced titles to rejuvenate their quad output.
It took me a long while to accept WEA had indeed stopped all quad releases.
But indeed they did of course.

Now thanks to the diligence of this website, (thanks Jon) and @ForagingRhino we have a bevy of quadradiscs once more.

Sad that there are no vocals on this bootleg disc. I don't know if it is supposed to be somehow encoded (unlikely) or just the rear channels decoded from stereo? A very odd one indeed!

Jethro Tull Mu Best of and Minstrel In The Gallery were announced together on that Schwann Record and Tape Guide Quad Listing.

If M U was mixed in quad you would think by now we would have it as with all the other Jethro Tull quad albums.

Steven Wilson has a very good track record of including all the quad mixes available for his many projects.

They haven't done a book set reissue of MU (or any sort of compilation album for that matter, like Living In The Past) yet, so there hasn't been any reason to release this quad mix - if it does actually exist. That said, the fact that all of Too Old and part of Songs From The Wood - both of which came after MU - were done in quad does make its existence seem somewhat plausible.

A couple years back, @steelydave found an old billboard article dated December 1975 mentioning that "Jethro Tull's Ian Anderson has been working on a quad mix of the band's last LP with Rick Heenan at the console". I guess this could be referring to Minstrel (even though the quad master tape box credits Robin Black), but maybe it was the MU comp?

In other words, Intervention Records .... needs an INTERVENTION ???
Not really. They're already on the hook for resending me fresh copies of two Frampton discs. After QQers and Hoffmanites make them lose enough money on making up for cracked cases, maybe they'll wake up and smell the coffee!

Ah yes, on the hook: got "two copies for my mother!"
