(Alright, so here's the first buying option for a stand-alone release, so everyone who's been clamoring for this, time to put your money where your mouth is!) ;)

Cool....I bought 1 for my brother as well. He introduced me to this epic when I was 13.

After ordering; up popped a Rick Wakeman soundtrack for the silent film Phantom of the Opera. Its a cd\dvd presentation NTS...but no mention if its surround or not. I'm a sucker for silent films...

Do we assume this stand-alone will be offered by other sites? Buehler, Buehler, Buehler....anyone... :)

On Amazon UK it has the expensive box version at the moment on pre-sale, but not the standalone bluray. I thought the price on Amazon was higher, but I was looking at the wrong set , Amazon are selling the higher priced box that includes vinyl for £81.55.

Me too - and I added a note to vendor on PayPal saying do them all as 5.1 stand alone BD-As and I'll buy them all! I Robot is in my Top 10 albums so I'd love it in surround

Ordered one myself. No reason not to support this effort - whatsoever. :)

Nope, I mean this one. This is the album cover of the LP that I bought new in 1977. When it came out on CD in the 80's, it had the redesigned green cover and I've never seen the original cover again. I wish I still had the LP. You can also see this album cover (and some discussion of it in the "Artwork" section) in the Wikipedia entry here - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tales_of_Mystery_and_Imagination_(Alan_Parsons_Project_album). My best friend at the time owned the LP a few months before I did, and his was the same.

The original cover is the green one. I've always thought this was a later "more commercial" cover.
